The Central Council of German Sinti and Roma and ARCA (Youth Agency for the Advocacy of Roma Culture in  Ukraine) - in cooperation with Chiricli (Roma Women Fund, Ukraine) - are honored  to invite you to the conference "Roma As Integral Part of Society of Ukraine" on June 14, 2023 in Berlin.

The event is supported the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ), the Evangelical Academy of Berlin, and the Society for Threatened People (GfbV).

The event takes place at the Evangelische Akademie zu Berlin, Charlottenstr. 53/54, 10117 Berlin, starting at 9:00.

Representatives of the governments of Ukraine and Germany, international and and civil society organizations discuss ways to ensure the equal participation of Roma in Ukraine. Current political processes such as the accession of Ukraine to the European Union, the Recovery Plan of Ukraine, and the "National and Cultural Program Unity in Diversity" of the Government of Ukraine will be analysed too.

Roma civil society organisations developed their own situation analysis and recommendations.

The conference is also intended to further support the current social and democratic development of Ukraine.
